The Hare and the Tortoise is a game based on the well-known fairy tale. Although it looks childish it can very much be enjoyed by adults over and over again for hours (it has happened!). The Hare and the Tortoise is a card racing game where the hare, turtle and other animals run to reach the finish line.

In the game the hare, the turtle, the fox, the wolf and the sheep run to reach the finish line and claim the highest position on the podium. Each animal moves differently. The hare, for example, moves very fast but when he is first he can take a nap. The turtle on the other hand goes slowly and steadily and at times can reach far without expecting it. Respectively the other animals have their own kind of movement. The nice thing about this game is that each player does not openly control an animal, but tries to secretly help only the ones that interest them reach the finish line. All players can move all the animals.
At the beginning of the game, each player randomly picks the animal they wants to help in winning the race. They also pick another animal to promote but this time by choice. They keep these animals secret and reveal them only at the end of the game. If a player manages to raise them to the podium, they gain more points than the other players who failed to promote their own.

It’s a fun game, suitable for the entire family. Its rules are very simple and its mechanism very smart. It challenges you to play again and again!
