It was the spring of 2015, when Yannis, Concept Artist at Odd Statue Games, told me to try Clash of Clans. He told me that it’s a strategy game in both defense and offense and that it has very nice art and music. So, I gave it a try and here I am almost 5 years later, still playing…

Clash of Clans is an online multiplayer game, in which as a player you upgrade your village with the resources you earn mainly by attacking the villages of other players. Gold and elixir are used for building and elixir and dark elixir are used for training troops and cooking spells. Finally, gems, as always make your life easier…

One of the things I enjoyed as a player is that you can edit your village and can place your defenses, walls, and traps wherever you like! Likewise, when you attack, you can follow so many strategies by deploying your troops, heroes, and spells, to reach your goal.

Another aspect of the game I shouldn’t forget is clans, clan games, clan wars and clan war leagues, where clanmates need to work together to complete tasks, as well as the game’s fair matching system for both wars and farming for resources.

Supercell, the company behind Clash of Clans, has teams for all of their games that give the players occasionally events and updates either balancing the troops and defenses or big updates like this December’s Town Hall 13 which has been anticipated a lot!!
